They lose direct access to their own databases, pay per-user subscription fees, and struggle to connect external IoT or legacy APIs due to cloud restrictions. The Sovereign Architecture (My Solution): I engineered a 100% self-hosted, enterprise-grade Odoo environment built on the "Thick Database" philosophy. Core: Dockerized Odoo Community deployment with direct, secure access to the underlying PostgreSQL database for advanced BI and custom SQL triggers. Security & RBAC: Integrated Authentik as the Identity Provider (IdP) to enforce Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across the entire ERP perimeter.
